• Prestone® Low Tox® Antifreeze/Coolant

    Provides performance durability and protection against corrosion of all cooling system metals. Its propylene glycol formula provides an added margin of safety for pets and wildlife.

    Drain — Draining removes loose rust and sediment from the radiator. Drain cooling system following owner’s manual. (illus. 1)

    Flush — Flushing the system cleans the engine block. Close radiator drain valve. Fill radiator with clean water leaving room for a quality cooling system flush/cleaner. Add flush/cleaner. Run engine with heater on high to normal operating temperture. Stop Engine. Allow to cool. Drain cooling system again. Close drain valve. (illus. 2)

    Fill — See owner’s manual for cooling system capacity. install minimum 50%, maximum 70% Prestone Low Tox® Antifreeze/Coolant. Add water to fill radiator. Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on high. Shut off engine. Allow to cool. Check coolant level and add water or coolant again if necessary. Remove coolant from recovery tank and fill with 50/50 mixture of Prestone Low Tox® Antifreeze/Coolant and water. (illus. 3)

    WARNING: HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. CAUTION: Do not remove radiator cap when engine is hot. See owner’s manual for any special cooling system service instructions. Do not store antifreeze/coolant in open or unlabeled containers. Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after use.
